Photo Competition Terms of Entry

1. Submit artwork before 1 June 2008 by mail (prints, cd or dvd) or email to dutchorangeday@hotmail.com or to the following address to be eligible for the competition:

2. The prize for the winner consists of a $250 voucher from a photographic store (details to be confirmed).
3. Along with your photographs, ensure to submit your full name, address, telephone number and email address.
4. Mailed images will not be returned unless accompanied by a self-addressed and pre-paid envelope.
5. Your submitted photographs should be of a reasonable resolution, but image resolution should not exceed 300 dpi. Preferred file format is .jpg (.jpeg).
6. You may submit as many images as you like, however we do recommend you only send your best work.
7. By submitting your photographs, you agree that the organisers of Dutch Orange Day might use your images in promotional material and online to promote this or future events. You agree that you waive any copyright or royalties entitlements and allow Dutch Orange Day to use your images in promoting 'not-for-profit' events.
8. Submissions received after 1 June 2008 are not eligible for the prize, however might still be used for promotional activities as specified above.
9. Your photographs may be used for promotional activities regardless of whether you won the competition or not.
10. The winner will be picked before 1 July 2008 by a jury consisting of members of the Dutch Orange Day committee.
11. No correspondence will be entered into in regards to the winning entry.
12. The winner's name will be posted on the web site in the week of 1 July 2008 and the winner will be contacted personally in regards to delivery of the prize.
13. The Dutch Orange Day committee will name the photographer of published images where applicable but is not obliged to.
